Anyone interested in doing a lookup for him? Often the cemetery is listed on the death certificate -- and if it isn't, he can write to the funeral director who will be listed. Note his e-mail address below -- I'm not sure he is on our list. Death notices are much more likely in the St. Paul newspapers than full obituaries, such as are seen in less urban settings, unless there was something newsworthy about the death -- important position held such as government or business official, murder, highway (which usually doesn't involve much genealogical information), or something that attracts the news hawks. But one just doesn't know unless one looks! Your local library may be able to get the newspapers on Inter Library Loan for you from the MN Historical Society, at a reasonable cost (some even free), so that you can check them yourselves. It's fun to read the ads, the editorials, etc. to get some clues about your ancestor's surroundings.
