St Stanislaus was and still is a very Bohemian parish. I went to gradeschool there and belonged to that church from 1935 to about 1939. A friend still attends there.. Also, some of my husband's family lived on Toronto street in the late 1890's and I believe they attended St Francis Parish. They were Bohemian. Their surnames were Huna and Benesch. His mother was married at St Francis Church. Joan Schneider Born-----Researching Surnames: BORN, HERRMANN, HUNA, BENESCH /// SCHNEIDER, LIEBL, YOUNG, LENG// TURBES.
