    3. This is very interesting to me. I went to St. Stans as a child with my very Bohemian grandmother, who lived on Goodhue St. Later, I went to St. Francis de Sales & Monroe HS and lived on Bay St. & also on James. Last summer I attended a funeral at St. Stans-it sure hasn't changed much. I went to Jefferson Elementary also, K-5 I think it was. I went to gradeschool there and belonged to that church from 1935 to about 1939. A friend still attends there.. Also, some of my husband's family lived on Toronto street in the late 1890's and I believe they attended St Francis Parish. They were Bohemian. Their surnames were Huna and Benesch. His mother was married at St Francis Church. Joan Schneider Born-----Researching Surnames: BORN, HERRMANN, HUNA, BENESCH /// SCHNEIDER, LIEBL, YOUNG, LENG// TURBES. 3. Jim, do you live in St. Paul? When did you go to St. Francis de Sales school (or was it the church)? St. Stan's is a beautiful church with a wonderful priest. Ruth A.
