It would have been hard to keep the marriage 'secret,' at least in Ramsey County, as marriage records have always been public records, if someone was looking. Now getting married in an adjoining county would have obscured the picture a little. Also interesting to speculate on WHY she would want to keep the marriage secret -- perhaps, Megan, you could fill us in a little on this. Any other ideas for Megan?
