Those with dates in red are >also held at MGS. http://www.mngs.org/catholic/stpaul1.html The Archdiocese archives are in St. Paul, across Summit Avenue from the Cathedral. They hold some really neat manuscripts as well, including records from their orphanage, the material used by Reardon to write his book on the history of the Catholic Church in Minnesota, burial permits for their cemeteries and photographs of many of the churches. They do charge for use of the facilities -- and are open limited hours for research. 3. Any Anglican or Episcopal records? My ancestor Alfred Moore lived in MNRamsey during the Civil War. Though he was a native of England, and never "naturalized" he fought for the north as the leader of a band unit that led soldiers to the battle of Gettysburg from MN. Any information on the Moore family is appreciated.
