There is a book on the St Paul police and firefighters -- it gives biographies, etc. I think the MN Historical Society has a copy. And of course there is both a 1875 State census and a 1880 Federal census to check for the wife's name and the children. >If anyone could please lookup LAUF in any of your St. Paul books, I >would really appreciate it. Neither appears in the City Directory Death Dates book, which is the only book I use for lookups.
