I attended Monroe from 1940 through 1944--hubby 1939-1943. He had a younger cousin Bob Huna who I assume also went to Monroe. I don't know about any Benesch relatives. ----- Original Message ----- From: "JAMES J KAPPELHOFF" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, May 06, 2007 6:11 PM Subject: Re: [MNRAMSEY] Seeking church for Bohemians in St. Paul > The names Huna & Benesch are familiar to me from Monroe H.S., where I went > from 48-52. > > >>From: "Joan Born" <[email protected]> >>Reply-To: [email protected] >>To: <[email protected]> >>Subject: Re: [MNRAMSEY] Seeking church for Bohemians in St. Paul >>Date: Mon, 20 Nov 2006 13:12:03 -0800 >> >>St Stanislaus was and still is a very Bohemian parish. Dear Joan, I went to school with a girl named Patty Huna in the late 1940's. She had a brother named Danny. They lived on County Road A2 in what is now Maplewood. I remember that their Dad's name was Herb and that he worked for or had an auto repair shop on the East side of St Paul.
