My dad (Joseph H. Paymar) took over Paymar Furniture at 250 E. 7th St. from his dad in the middle 1940s. On the west side was Purity Coffee Shop, then Wacouta St. + then Butwinick Furniture Store. There were apartments above Paymar Furniture. The building is VERY old with great architecture on the outside. (I never was upstairs.) I'd greatly appreciate information on how I can get information on this old building. Thanks very much for your help! See the St. Paul Pioneer Press newspaper, of yesterday, July 20, 2006 for an interesting story about a very old toilet, discovered in the building at 250 E. Seventh St., now undergoing renovation. Plans are to preserve and display the ancient throne! Fun reading for all. lanie paymar wrote: > My dad (Joseph H.
