April 8, 2003 ------- Forshay, Steven William - Loving Son & Brother Age 37 Son of Steven Rumery & Judith West Forshay of North Oaks, MN, died in a plane accident while flying with 2 other pilots for Grand Aire, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio, on April 8, 2003. Will was born in Germany August 21, 1965, while his father was overseas with the US military, and subsequently grew up in Tennessee, California, and Minnesota. Will attended the University of Minnesota. Will survived being diagnosed with leukemia while a young man, and went on to become an accomplished commercial airline pilot and professional skydiver, becoming one of a small group to earn the 'BASE' jumping designation. Will was married to Cathy Crawford for 10 years. Will was a loving and loyal son, brother, uncle, cousin and a cherished friend to many. Will embraced the difficulties of life with humor, craved opportunities to learn, approached life with humility and gratitude, and savored every experience with true appreciation. Will's incredible spirit will live on in all who loved him. We will be celebrating his life Saturday, April 12, 2PM at CENTENNIEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Roseville, MN. For those who wish to honor his memory through a donation, St. Jude's Hospital and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are organizations that had special meaning for Will.
