I'm looking for info on the names and relations. For a start, towns I remember hearing about; Theif River, Fosston, Bimidgie(sp?), Crookston, McIntosh, Clearbrook, Bagley, Winger, Erskin, Plummer. People I know exsisted but don't know other family ties: Ole Hjalmer Matson,> his father- Christian Madsen, >Mads Christiansen, >& Christian Amundsen BOELSTAD(?)> his Father?. Helene Larssen/dater was married to one of the other three. Ole Matson was married to Marit Thulien,>father:Ole Ingebret Thulien married Ingeborg Penlokken} I have no more info on her, and would love any help with these names and places. Ole Ingebret Thulien's father/mother> Ingebret Gulbrandsen Thulien & Marit Syversdater had 5 children; Severt, Peter E., Marit I/E., Ragnild Thulien "Togersen", & Ole B:23Mar1832 Places in Norway: Loken, Holand, Boelstad, Outen, Romerike, Ringebu, Askimbut mostly Holand,Akershus,Norway. Take a peek at any name familiar even if spelling is off most spelling was on pronunciation and accented with dialect.:)
