ANDERSON BURIED SATURDAY Died Wednesday Evening of Last Week at Home of Son, PC Anderson Funeral services for William Anderson, who died last Wednesday evening at 9:30 o'clock at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. PC Anderson, 808 Dover Avenue, were held last Saturday at 2 o'clock at the Mendenhall Memorial Presbyterian Church. Reverend George DeF. Fisher, officiated. Mr. Anderson was born in Denmark, October 13, 1846, and was 81 years and three months old at the time of his death. He had been in poor health several months previous. Mr. Anderson was married to Sophia Peterson in Denmark, 58 years ago. They moved to New Brunswick, Canada, in 1872 and a year and a half later they settled in Mason City, Iowa, where Mr. Anderson was connected with the Chicago, Milwaukee railway. Leaving the railroad he farmed for 16 years at Innwood, Iowa. In 1903 he moved his family to this city and a home was maintained on Pillsbury Avenue, where they resided until 1913 when they went to Ellscott, Alberta, Canada, where he took a homestead. Nine years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson returned to this city to make their home with their son. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, and four of their six children. They are: P.C. Anderson, this city; Mrs. Marie Smith, Portland, Oregon; F. W. Anderson an Louis Anderson, Ellscott, Alberta, Canada. Three brothers, Christopher Anderson, Shokopee, Minn.; L.H. Anderson, Minneapolis; Oswald Anderson, Boston, Mass., and a sister, Anna Anderson, residing in Denmark, also survive. There are nine grandchildren, Frederick and Ethel Anderson, this city; Pierre Cooper, Portland, Ore.; William and Paul Anderson, Blanche and Dorothy Anderson, Ellscott, Alberta, Can.; Mrs. Marie Heisler and Mrs. Margaret McArthur, Mahnomen, Minn. Also four great grand children reside at Mahnomen. Pallbearers were: T.W. Rickett, John Schmallenberg, D.B. Ferguson, John Rempher, Louis Hanson and John Sticklemeyer. Out of town people who were here at the time of Mrs. Anderson's death and funeral were: Gustave Lubitz, Dorothy, Minn,; Mr.and Mrs F.E. Rux, and son Martin, St. Hilaire, Minn.; Mrs. Marie Shipper, Crookston, Minn.; Mrs. Marie Heisler and son Lawrence, Mrs. Margaret McArthur and daughter Kathleen, Mahnomen, Minn.; Mrs Marie Smith, Portland, and F.W.
