I believe he secured land between 1860 and `1880, but am not sure. As I understand it, Hendrum was part of Polk County before Norman County was established in 1881. I have visited Norman County, and the record of land transfers begins after 1881. I would appreciate any information about the date and the source of the land he settled. Thank You.
