I have never been to Minnesota before and I have a chance this summer to do some serious cemetery crawling in Fertile. (and then on to Flom for same) Can anyone recommend a place to stay? Museums? Courthouse? other places for research? I will be with two cousins and we are searching SKEIM,LILLEGRAVEN all buried in Fertile, we think. They were Norwegian. Thank you in advance! Patty, Well I go there pretty often and Grand Forks is good as well as Crookston has some nice places. You could check the Polk Co. Historical Society. All my family is from Erskine area....so if you have family around there I could probably be of more help.
