Posted on: Polk County Obituaries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Mn/PolkObits/55 Surname: Osell, Cochran, Sandstrom, Sutton ------------------------- OBIT: Mahnomen Pioneer Newspaper; Leo Osell, 72 Funeral services for Leo Osell, 72, of Mahnomen will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Center of Human Environment in rural Mahnomen. He died Saturday, October 30, 1999 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Leo was born March 15, 1927 in Polk County before serving in World War II. He returned to Polk County and worked for Herman Jacobson and the Nesdahl family near East Grand Forks with farm work. Leo moved to Center of Human Environment on June 12, 1991. Leo is susrvived bt one brother, Lawrence of Minneapolis and one sister Julia Meyers and her husband, B.C. of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Arrangements by Mattson Funeral of Mahnomen.
