Ellef Aasen was son of Clemmet Ellefsen Aasen (father) and Gunhild Marie Iversdatter Tonseth. He was born 17 Feb 1871 in Roros town (Sor Trondelag county) and left Oslo Harbour (Norway) on 17 Apr 1891 bound for the US. In the papers it is written that he was bound for Crookston, Minnesota. He was traveling by a ship owned by Angelo Rederi (shipping company). He was not married when he left Norway. It is quite possible that he did marry in the US. He died in 1930. Any information regarding possible family, wife, children and/or death in Minnesota is appreciated. I live in Massachusetts. Thank you in advance.
