Posted on: Polk County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mn/Polk/497 Surname: GUNDERSON, HANSON ------------------------- My husbands great-uncle, HENRY/HELGE GUNDERSON purchased land in Queen Township, Polk County in 1904 and lived there severl years. I believed he is buried in a small cemetery in Queen Township, probably Cross Cemetery. I'm not sure if that is the correct name or not. If anyone can tell me just where this cemetery is located, I would appreciate it. I don't know when he died but am hopeful that someone in the area could find the cemetery and his grave and let me know. I know this is a big wish list. We live in the State of Washington and haven't been able to get back there. Thanks.

He was born 17 Feb 1871 in Roros town (Sor Trondelag > county) and left Oslo Harbour (Norway) on 17 Apr 1891 bound for the US.
