Hello once again, I, too, seem to have forgotten to give the reaoning for posting my query in Polk Co. I am assuming that although my great great grandparents no longer lived in Climax, they yet had alot of family there and perhaps something about Lars' death may have been in the local paper. Are you related? I look forward to hearing from you soon. I will also check those Beltrami sources you e-mailed me Thanks again. Posted on: Polk County Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Mn/Polk/514 Surname: Andersen, Knutsen ------------------------- My great grandmother, Synneva(Susan)Andersen Brekke, had a sister Emma, who was 17 or 18 years, younger than her. My great grandmother died in 1937, she was in her 80's, when she died. In my g.grandmother's obituary, it listed her siblings, Henry, Albert, Emma Knutsen( Ole). Emma was living in Fertile, Mn., in 1937. When visiting relatives last winter, we were looking through some old pictures and found some of a Theresa Knutson, Arthur Knutson, Obert Knutson and a Magda Knutson Hoglund. No one seemed to know who these people were, then it dawned on us, these must be Emma and Ole's children. Incidently, Emma and Susan were raised in Waupaca/ Portage counties, in Wisconsin. I have no idea when Emma or Ole died. I am wondering, if there is anyone in Polk county, who recognizes any of their children. If so, I'd love to hear from you.
