They settled in Lakeville in 1852 and in 1856 moved to Lake Praire on the farm now owned by Duncan McDonald (in 1900, the date of the obituary). In 1862 Indians drove them out to St Peter, and in the fall of 1864 they moved to a farm on "the other side of the river." They were my ggrandparents.
