Hi Paula, Thank you so much for letting everyone know about the Death Certificate Index online. Since I do not live in MN accessing the microfilm will definitely be difficult. To obtain copies via mail at $8.00/copy compared to 25 cents per sheet if you can look them up in person, is a bit much for all the certificates I need. Here is my quest... I am looking for a volunteer in the area who would be willing to make copies of the microfilmed death certificates I need... I would pay for all copies, and of course a reasonable fee for the look-up. I need many certificates and other material from the Minnesota Historical Society. Maybe there would be a willing highschool/college student or retiree that would be interested in making a few dollars.
