from an unknown newspaper handwritten date: 1924 St. Peter Boy Married At Ponsford On February 13 A wedding of interest to friends here was solemnized in Detroit, Minn., Wednesday, Feb. 13, when Miss Vangie Tubbs of Ponsford, became the bride of Merritt Hill, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Hill. The ceremony was a quiet affair and was performed in, the presence of two intimate friends, Miss Midge Finney and Dave Nunn. The groom needs no introduction to residents of this Community, having been born and reared here. Since last fall he has been located near Ponsford in the northern part of the state, where he has employment in a saw mill. In the spring, Mr. Hill and bride plan to engage in farming on the Walter Hill farm near Ponsford. The many friends extend congratulations.
