Jerry, I checked with my niece who lives just a few miles from Sargeant. One phone company in that area is Citizen phone. There are no businesses in the town that now use the Sargeant name. One lead you might want to follow is to contact the Austin Daily Herald. Until recently, they had a columnist named Pat Sargeant. Of course, there may be no connection, but if she was somehow connected, I think you might find some of her writing interesting. Also, Sargeant in located in the Hayfield School district.
