The Patrick McCourtney group is directly related to my son-in-law. Patrick's son, Michael, married Kate Doran of Tyrone Twp in 1893 and had 3 children - all raised by their grandparents! The two boys, John and Raymond, were raised by their maternal grandparents, Richard & Ann Doran. Kitty was raised by her fraternal grandparents, Patrick & Catherine McCourtney.
