    2. Russ - I don't know that the stone company recruited in Sweden. There may have been some knowleged of the quarry in the area, but that might be just coincidence. Like a lot of other people what got them to Kasota was probably the river, the stop in St. Peter, and other people from Sweden who had settled in the area.
