Born at Gouvenenr, St. Lawrence Co., NY April 28, 1856. Came with parents to MN 1858 and died March 3, 1933. John Baynes, son of Patrick Baynes and Mary Higgens, Born in County Mayo, Westport about 1849, married 1876, moved to Todd Co., died in Todd Co., March ;15, 1905. Mary Baynes, (Mayme) daughter of John Baynes, born in the parish (Marysburg, former title is Immaculate Conception Catholic Church) January 20, 1879. Was graduate nurse at St. Peter State Hospital 1902. Married Duffy. Died in Butte, Montana May 18, 1956. Veronica Baynes, daughter of John Baynes, born in the parish Nov 11, 1882, married Edward Piepho Sept. 16, 1908, died in July, 1918. Margaret Baynes, married Henry Jeffries, born in parish August 30, 1880, Pierre So. Dak. Died June 27, 1953. John Baynes, Jr. married Bessie May Pearson.
