My Grimes and Doheny ancestors were the first Irish settlers in Sibley County. They came there from Susquehanna, PA in 1852. The Dohenys settled and founded Jessenland and the Grimes family were the first people to settle where Henderson now sits. St Thomas Catholic Church in Jessenland is located on land donated by my Doheny ancestors. Bill Grimes Round Rock, TX
