It seemed to be fairly detailed when I scanned it. The following is a link to the site: www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/mn/lesueur/lesueur.html That link will take you to the table of contents for the Lesueur County genweb. Scan down the page until you come to a file listed as "nclscty1.txt" and "nclscty2.txt" . These links contain the detailed history of Nicolet and Lesueur County. Good luck.
Have your written to the Le Sueur COUNTY Genealogy Ceneter, P. O. Box 240, Elysian, MN 56028? They have been very good to me. According to the 1860 Census, Aurelius was a lawyer living in La Sueur County with his wife Harriet Emily and two sons, Charles and DeWitt. I know from a later census that Harrit Emily Delavergne was a school teacher. Aurelius served in the 4th Regiment Infantry from Minnesota during the Civil War. Any assistance with location more information about Aurelius Frederic, Harriet Emily, Charles J., and DeWitt would be very greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Tammy Stark Blandino Spring, TX Charles J.
