According to the 1860 Census, Aurelius was a lawyer living in La Sueur County with his wife Harriet Emily and two sons, Charles and DeWitt. I know from a later census that Harrit Emily Delavergne was a school teacher. Aurelius served in the 4th Regiment Infantry from Minnesota during the Civil War.
