He lived on the edge of the lake and was a preacher in the area and was the main carpenter in building the historical church in Cleveland. So I feel the lake was named after him. The cemetary rested on his neighbor's land, rumer had it that there was a love connection but can't prove it. But Savidge Children were among the first burried there, and that is why the cemetary was so named also.

My email to you did not go through so I will try to summarize some info. I have that may be of interest to you. One of my relatives married someone from the line of Randalls who moved from Marion Twp., Jennings Co., Indiana to Sharon, Le Sueur Co., MN. There were some families with the surname Randall living in Sharon, Le Sueur Co., MN. I found these families in the 1800 census records and the 1900 census records. Also, I noticed that you are researching the surname - Just. Another relative of mine married Abraham Just and they lived in St. Peter, Nicollet Co., MN in the early 1900's. Abraham Just was from Norway. Hopefully, I have some info. that may help you in your search. Christy
