Walker born in Canada and found in the 1860 Ottawa Twp, LeSueur County census. She was living with Cyrus Smith and family, and was listed as age 15 in 1860. In 1870, the Cyrus Smith family were living in Kansas but Rebecca wasn't with them. Is there any listing of marriages beginning in 1860 that would give me her married name? I would appreciate any help.

Birth records are usually filled out by the parents, but not always filed. Add your ancestors births to the Minnesota birth site. Your information can help out someone looking for a relative. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mnbirths/minnesota.htm

First, let me pass along condolences for the damages that your area received. I am from the Toledo Oh area, and decendent from O'Briens. I at times do "footwork" for a cousin in Washington State that is compiling a book on the Harrigan/O'Brien side of the family. I noticed in the news articles that Thos Foley O'Brien was a casualty of the storm. As we had relatives that headed that way at the turn of 20th century I was wondering if you could shed any light. Thank you, Mike
