I am a great granddaughter of Mathias M. Kallevik born 1859 in Kallevik, Mosterhamn, Norway. I live at the Kallevik "homeplace" in Norway. My great grandfather was the only brother living in Norway. He was in Minnesota, Kandiyohi for about 10 years from 1887-1897 and had a farm together with his brother Ole. Then he came back to Norway, married here and took over his home place.
