Township 118N Range 35W (that makes it Whitefield Township, Kandiyohi. Section 6 SE quarter (160 acres) The patent is sign "S. Meeker, of Dakota County, Minnesota" In section 6 are James Coffield, Nels Person and Charles Shea. No land patents for section 5 to the east nor section 7 to the south. Modern map suggests the area was swampy in section 5 nad 7 because it now looks like drainage ditches. While section 6 appears to be higher ground. Kiddycorner (to SE) are Sameul C Gale, Elderkin N Rose and George B Wright. To the northwest is the ghost town of Priam.
