The farmplace name was Wik. I have seen his surname spelled Vik, Vick, Wik, Wick and Week. According to the 1905 History of Kandiyohi Co., MN, John Week had a homestead on section 24 at Norway Lake Twp. He arrived in 1873. I have a copy of a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Benson, MN (Swift Co.). I have 2 papers- 1. from the General Land Office in Benson 2.
