Walgren died March 6, 1918, at Minneapolis at son John's; born April 16, 1851, Skaraborg's lan, Sweden; Fahlun resident; to U.S. in 1882; lived Kandiyohi County 29 years; to Mpls. 7 years ago; 3 children: John, Elmer, William all of Mpls; 3 brothers Aug (August?) Weedall, Gust Strom, P. A. Weedall, 5 sisters not named, buried Tripolis Cemetery ********** According to the Kandiyohi County cemetery index at the Willmar library: Andrea and Swan J. Walgren buried Tripolis Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Tripolis, Minnesota: Swan--4/16/1851-3/6/1918 Andrea (Catarina)--4/28/1857-6/28/1892 ********** If you want additional information or copies of the Willmar Tribune issues mentioned, you may contact the following: There is a group of genealogy volunteers in Willmar called the Heritage Searchers of Kandiyohi County. Church records of Vinje in Telemark Norway would be a good place to look for his marriage record and the death/burial of his wife. They would be copied to LDS microfilm.
