My mother was the only surviving child of the union between Parley and Lucy Mamie(Stanley) Colburn. During their marriage, they had 13 children. The oldest, a boy died at the age of 3 from Scarlet Fever. His name may have been William, but I do not know. The other children were either still born or died immediately after birth due to a blood incompatibility. The final child, a boy born in the early 30's was a complete albino with no color pigmentation at all. He and Lucy were married on June 17, 1907. His brother Charles was married to Lucy's sister and were the grandparents of Eileen. I knew Eileen and her brother Wayne when we children but lost all contact with them later. The last time I saw Eileen was in the summer of 1962.
