Sounds like the same bunch. Since posting that message, I have found out that the Jacob Edward I am looking for and the Jacob that died in Itasca Co., 1933 are father and son. Jacob Edward was a brother to Ernest. I have been in contact with a grandchild of their brother, John Irvin, and she said that as far as any of her part of the family knew, JE had never married. I am trying to find out more info on this family and possibly find out when and where Jacob Edward Sweedman and Laura Muriel Fish got married. All I have is their divorce decree and a single letter to Laura Muriel from Jacob, John and Ernest's sister Alma. I am also interested in the reports that there have been several more Wait and Eckert marriages into the Sweedman clan in more recent generations. (after Jacob Edward and Laura Muriel got divorced in 1916, she married my great grandfather Orrin Wait and they had 6 children, one of whom is my grandmother.
