I found on Ancestry.com, from the 1930 Federal Census Severt Guarrd age 74 born about 1855 in Norway living in Bass Township. Also in the household are Olive his wife age 70 born about 1859 also br in Norway and a son Silas age 39 br in Norway. Age at first marriage was 29 for Severt and 34 for Olive, so Severt must have been married before he married Olive. Severt came to the US in 1876 and Olive in ?1882 or 92 It does not say when Silas came to the US.
