I have a copy of "Naturalization Record B-First Papers" for my grandmother. This was issued in Itasca County in 1905. Can someone advise me where to write for the complete naturalization file? Would this be at the County level or State? Also, why would a young woman of that era find it necessary to become naturalized? She had been in the US for nearly 20 years at this time and her father was naturalized already according to the 1900 census.
