Looking for burial place of my gr-grandfather Louis HETU. According to his obit printed in the Itasca County Independent, he died 8/14/1904. It stated he was a well known resident of "the village" which likely refers to Grand Rapids. The obit further states that "the funeral was held from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. O'Mahoney officiating". No mention was made of burial place nor of survivors though I know he had a wife and 2 adult children living at that time. (Although the obit appears complete, I wonder if the last portion mentioning survivors could have been missed in the copy process.) Can anyone advise as to the most likely burial place? Efforts to contact St. Joseph's Church were unsuccessful nor was a death cert on file. Thank you in advance for any assistance. Jeanne K (in California)
