I have in my possession, an application for a marriage license for John LaPier and Lucinde Wood dated 9-5-1913. My maiden name is LaPier, but these people are not known to any of my relatives. The witnesses are listed as Ethel Shooks and Ed Carlson. My parents were George and Harriet LaPier from Spring Lake. My grandparents were Joseph and Ellen LaPier from Jesse Lake.
