He lived with Al and Minnie Furley from the time he was 5 years old for about 5 years (after his mother passed away). He was living with them when Mary Katherine was a baby and when Bill was born. My Dad (Harland Joseph Krugel) talked about "helping" at the bait shop when he was a kid. Regarding your grandmother "Minnie" --- She was originally Mignonette Cochran, d/o John and Fostoria Cochran. I am not directly related to the Cochrans, but have some information about them. "Minnie" not only hunted and fished, but she painted also. She painted a picture of the little cabin (where I think she was born) way out in the woods. Respond by direct email to me, and I will be glad to exchange info.
