John Mike has been a source of our family mystery ever since he seemed to have dissappeared. I am fortunate enough to have the only known picture of him, but I don't have a scanner yet so I can't post it. I appreciate you finding grandpa Earl on the census. I think it is very interesting that he was not there with Clarissa. I have always thought that he may have been with John Mike or something. I found Earl in the 1930 census, and it said that his dad was from Romania but spoke German. After John Mike left Clarissa married in 1912 to Emil Tuenge, and he was German. So do you think that John would have been in Bovey in 1910 or 1943? I wish there was a way to find out. Thanks again for your reponse. Dena
