Many of these people were in Squaw Lake, Max, or Good Hope in Itasca County, Minnesota. They often interpeted Saku wrong. I have found Saka and Saker among others. I have their death certificates, so I have most of that kind of info I need. All state that burial was in Itasca Cemetery. What I was hoping to do was to buy a copy of the book that has the cemetery transcriptions for the Itasca cemetery. I suppose that all I would gain from that would be their burial location, but it would be nice to have. Am planning a visit in 2006, first time since 1957 ! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I somehow believe my Peter VanStiphout and descendants are related to yours. This is what I have: Peter James VAN STIPHOUT, born 25 April 1876 in Kaukauna, WI to Peter Van Stiphout of Holland and Wilhelmina Van brook of Holland. He was married in Auburndale, Wood County, WI on 17 July 1900. He died 16 Feb 1943 in Vancouver, WA. I have more info on his wife and descendants if you are interested.
