It appears that Davis is mis-entered on the 1920 census for Itasca County, listed as David Anderson, livng with his wife Nellie and children, in Grand Rapids, La Prairie, a sort of suburb to Grand Rapids. I could not find any sign of Ellis A. Anderson on the 1920 census anywhere in the united States. There were three other Ellis Andersons, but all older then your Ellis A. Anderson. Hope this helps, at least with Davis (David) L. Anderson. Dick

    3. St. Josephs Catholic church is in Grand Rapids, 613 North West 1st. Ave. 326-2843 In 1904 Grand Rapids probably was a villliage. It still is by no way a city. Just a nice iron range town. In the summer full of tourists so the population then does increase. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeanne Kalkwarf" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 07, 2005 5:03 PM Subject: [MNITASCA] Itasca County locaton > > I recently acquired an obit that was printed in the "Itasca County > Independent" in August 1904.
