Regarding "America's Obituaries and Death Notices through Newsbank". Where do you get these. Godfrey Library used to have them on line but they got too expensive & they had to drop them. I haven't been able to find another site that has them. I am seeking an obituary for Ernest W. Ingersoll who died in Itasca County February 8, 1920. I believe he was living in Feeley at the time, as the census taken in January is from Feeley, Itasca County. His wife died October 9, 1940, also in Itasca County. Must have moved from WI to MN between 1913 and 1917 (birth of children) 1920 census shows her in Greenway, Itasca, MN - same children. Married to Roland Bahr. Roland born Oct. 1883, (WI, Germany, WI). Died Oct. 24, 1926 Itasca Co. MN. A Gordon Larson Bahr had two daughters, Becky Ann Bahr 1950 and Kathleen Sharon Bahr 1952. Goodhue Co. MN SS Death index shows a Gordon L. Bahr born 18 Aug 1916 died Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN 25 Feb, 2002. SS card issued MN before 1951. My great grandmother name was Caroline Putman and I am tring to find her. The children were; Mary age 4 born in ILL. Irish (not sure of spelling) age 6 born in ILL, and Caroline age 7 months born in Indiana. The family must have moved to Indiana between 1864 and 1869.
