The index that was published in the atlas and sold on the other sites listed here is only a partial atlas. The one I prepared for Park Genealogical Books includes all the people listed on the maps, the patrons directories (with all the info there), those named in office windows on the illustrations, etc. as well as the alternative references when the names don't agree (not as much of a problem in Hennepin County as it is in those with many Norwegian settlers). And the best part for index users, it's all in one listing. The Andreas is my very favorite book -- it's the first atlas published in the U.S. that used colored lithos, a new technology at the time.
