    3. Today I did some research with a goal of finding a photograph of Albert. Today wasn't successful but I will as time permits continue this search (unless one of you other sleuths find a photo). Here is what I did research on to attain either a photo or find relatives: 1. Looked in the 1937, 1938, 1939 Hesperian (West High School) yearbooks for a photograph. I did not find Albert in any of these yearbooks. NOTE: The Minnesota Historical Soc. (MHS) doesn't have Blake H.S. yearbooks for the years required. I will see if Hennepin History Museum or a library may have them. Or perhaps other private schools? 2. Looked at the death certificate and obituary for Albert's father, Mac Martin. I found that Mac, at the time of death, was married to a woman named Alice. Other survivors included: step-sons - Clark Fletcher, Kingston Fletcher; step-daughter - Sally Lother; niece Frances Margaret Smith of Los Angeles. 3. I also found that Mac Martin had his own advertising agency called Mac Martin Advertising Agency. So it may be possible that there is a biography about him at MHS that could possibly present additional clues. 4. Looked at the World War II bonus beneficiary index at MHS. I didn't find Albert's name in the index. One of the archivists said that in those records sometimes there are photos among the other effects. NOTE: When I'm at MHS next time I'll ask about more types of records that may be of help. Don't give up hope, Mr. Vincent. One never knows what may show up with research in the many many types of records. And I also want to say, thank you for your volunteer work in taking care of those graves! Very selfless and honorable. Regards, Patricia Strot ____________________________________________________________________________________ Never miss a thing.
