    3. Thanks Susan and everyone. I've been forwarding your e-mails on to Vandeberg and suggested he join the Hennepin mailing list so I won't have to forward everything to him. I'll let you all know if he joins, in the meantime will just keep forwarding info. Thanks everyone!! Martin I'll see whether I can find the news story about Albert's death. It's a pretty good bet that it was front page news. I'll let you know what I find. >>> strot003@yahoo.com 02/01/08 07:47AM >>> Thanks for the help with the school!! Thanks for the interesting information about the house!! You super sleuths all rock! As a couple of you noted, Mr. Martin was in advertising and I found that he traveled quite a bit internationally. Albert's father's name was actually James M and he was a junior. One of the James' (forgot which one) was a lawyer. I looked for Albert's birth record but didn't find one even though it says in the census that he was born, like his parents, in Minnesota. It could be that he was born at home (doubt that as it seems that the family had money) or perhaps adopted. Or there may have been bad penmanship (I helped index and I know how bad it was!) and the surname name was mangled. I only did a perfunctory look but I'll check more thoroughly today at MHS. I too grieve for Albert having his young life cut short. I grieve for the parents who lost their child. There aren't words... But I'm happy that good Mr. Vandeberg Vincent from Belgium is taking care of the grave! Claudia, when you look on ancestry at the passports be sure to scan over the whole page of the passport. Also, in Mac Martin's case go to the second page of the passport and look on the bottom. I'll get back to you, MNHennep.
