I've "rescued" an old photograph of E. G. CHAPMAN which was taken at the Jacoby Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Mr. CHAPMAN likely in his 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this is a photograph of Edwin Garner CHAPMAN the son of Alexander Hamilton CHAPMAN and Lorinda MCWHINNEY. The couple had 7 children including: Ida Lorinda CHAPMAN Wilbur CHAPMAN Edwin Garner CHAPMAN Anna Mary CHAPMAN Jessie CHAPMAN Luella CHAPMAN Charles Ratchford CHAPMAN Edwin G. CHAPMAN married Jeanie "Jenny" Hadley HUDDLESTON on 30 May 1883. I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family.
