I think I have posted previously, but I am still trying to find my grandparent's TIMOTHY JAMES CORBETT and NELLIE KITCHEN. They lived many years in Hennepin Co. as far back as 1910, maybe even earlier. The closest I can calculate his birth date is anywhere from 1882-1886 in Minnesota (possibly Hennepin Co.). So I can't even order a birth record because I don't know the date. So my next step is to see if I can find a marriage application for them. I THINK they got married in Hennepin Co., and I THINK it was about 1907. So I can't order that either without a date! My questions are: 1) Has anyone seen an actual marriage application from back in the early 1900's? Will it give me their birth dates and parent's names? 2) Is there a way to physically go in and search the files and find them, either in birth or marriage records, and then order an application? I can't reach an actual person on the phone at Vital Records in Hennepin Co. to ask questions. Does anyone have a suggestion for me on this brick wall?
