Your help is needed! Claudia, Jodi and I have started creating a custom search engine for Hennepin County research. We want all the good sites for researching Hennepin County genealogy and local history included in the search engine. We want Hennepin County families with trees/websites online. We want the hard-to-find sites to show up in search results. This won't replace the big search engines or databases at the major genealogy sites. It's like a research shortcut - a quick way to search only Hennepin County-specific sites without getting junk in the results. Our custom search engine works just like "Search this site" - except we can include up to 5000 websites. So far, we have added 2000+ sites. But we know good webpages are still missing.
