Has anyone on the list tried to purchase any of the articles listed in the index ? I tried to purchase the 4 article package for $7.95. It took my credit card number, but then told me it could not process my order. No explanation why not. I don't want to try again until I have more information as each time you check purchase you are charged again. Does anyone know another way of getting articles from the New York Times from the date 1947-1965 without going though Pro Quest? Check your local library website! I believe most public libraries in the U.S. include the NY Times historical database - digital images of the NY Times. It might be listed under Proquest or Historical Proquest Newspapers. This can be accessed for free from home with a library card number. Go to your local library website. Check under databases. Enter your library card number to access most of the databases. Joann, don't know where you are but I know Multnomah County Library has this database. If you don't have success at your local library, contact me offlist. Shawne Joanne Mack wrote: > Has anyone on the list tried to purchase any of the articles listed in the index ?
